Looking for a partner

Hi all. I wanted to ask you something hoping that you will be able to tell me what I can do. I really love climbig, but unforunatley since I enetered college I haven't had much chance to climb. I go to Colgate University, which is in Hamilton NY. There are not many people here that like climbing and they don't go very often. I don't have a car and I am new to the area but I really want to climb. The two places that I have heard of that are somewhat close are Little Falls (1h away) and the Gunks (~2,5h away). How can I find someone to climb with and...how can I get there without a car? Please help because I love climbing so much that I can't stand being here without being able to climb.
