How long to reach 7a standards?

I've been climbing for the past 2.5 yrs and have yet to reach that standand. So how long does it really take to reach 7a-7b standards for the average climber? Btw, I climb on avg 3 times a wk wif intense workouts after 2 hrs of climbing. But yet I cant overcome the 7a threshold. So how long will it take?

Wait till the second full moon from now. Upon that night ,sacrifice a cow to the climbing gods and drink its warm blood as you scream like Chris Sharma. That did the trick for me. Hope that helps!

well i climbed for 8 months and managed to do a 7b

Go to a soft arear if what you care about is the grade. May I suggest New Mexico?

i know some who onsighted 7c after 3 ye. But i also have friends who have climbed for more than 12 ye. and still onsights/redpoints 6's routes..... it is all up to you!
