Hello climbing world! I just broke my collar bone in a bike accident. I am going to have surgery soon. I wanted know if anyone else has had the same experience and how long the rehab process took. Is surgery the best option for a quick recovery? Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.
I broke my collar bone when I was around 5 years old. As soon as I got home the night that I got the cast on, it came off. I wasn't having it. It only took maybe a week for the bone to heal it seemed like. Suprisingly it didn't last very long. You should be able to climb again soon. Just survive the next week or so.
