Bouldering in and around villars

does anyone know of any good bouldering spots around the villars area, or valais? are there any guides?
The Valais is full of bouldering areas, most with-in 40 min or so from Villars. I know of at least 20+ different areas, but there are no real guides. Though I have some guides in preparation, I would be happy to show you some of the area or give you some of our info. In the past 3 years we have put up over 1200 new Boulder Problems in the region, and I’s sure there are other areas that I do not know of. The sites vary from about 500m in altitude to about 1800m. So that means that bouldering is good basically all year long. This winter was the coldest we have had in 25 years, and we were still able to climb for all but a few days. Now the summer heat has settled in , we have headed up to some of the higher areas, that are great from May until Early November., When are you planning to come down?? Cheers Reto

the topo "Escalades en Bas-Valais, the best of " (François Roduit) contains some bouldering spot. But there are new spot as Massongex (between Monthey and St-Maurice), Plex (over Collonges) and Lavey-Village (near St-Maurice) which aren't in the topo.
Hey Starbar, Check out Solalex, just above Gryon. 15min from Villars. On the right side of he riverbed, 5min walk from first P. All degrees, nice and safe landings! Enjoy Bert
