Hey there,
we're going to spend 2 weeks in Sweden in July and are looking for some bouldering and climbing sites. Unfortunately, it seems incredibly hard to find books or information on the net. Any recommendations (no, not the hardest please ;) )?
Thanks a lot
Christian
Kjugekull - www.kjuge.nu - 1000+ problems. It's possible to buy the guide book at the cafe in the forest. Everything from slabs to roof and from ~3 up to 8A in difficulty. Very, very nice bouldering. Probably the best bouldering site in sweden.
Hönö - www.hono.nu, www.highsport.se/galleri/hono.html - also a very nice bouldering area near Gothenburg. Great scenery near the ocean with many walls and boulders polished by water throughout the years. The friction is great though. Many highballs so it could be nice to calm down swimming in the ocean. Guide available on the internet...
Rosendal - near Örebro - http://www.orebroklatterklubb.com/ - contact any member of Örebro climbing club to get a topo. Great bouldering.
Ågelsjön in Norrköping has 400 routes and Lillsjön has 300+ boulders and both areas are within 3 km from eachother.
