| Little Red Scooter Gang (6a) | shared a boat with some lovely French climbers to Tiger Beach. warmed up on this before tackling the popular multipitch. the rock here had a rougher texture than the polished limestone at Butterfly Valley. it was grippier, but perhaps too sharp for my fingies. took a long break at the crux of the extension (to cry), just didn't know how to get my feet higher. found some jugs on the left and zoo wee mama |

| shared a boat with some lovely French climbers to Tiger Beach. warmed up on this before tackling the popular multipitch. the rock here had a rougher texture than the polished limestone at Butterfly Valley. it was grippier, but perhaps too sharp for my fingies.
took a long break at the crux of the extension (to cry), just didn't know how to get my feet higher. found some jugs on the left and zoo wee mama | ||||||
| Screw Loose (6a+) | cool approach: car ride to ben beo wharf then a boat ride to tiger beach at low tide. p1 - low tide revealed a beach cave with the start of the multi where we stemmed our way up the chalky white holds p2 - hardest but most rewarding pitch!! scaled up giant tufas (and bomber branches) then traversed to emerge out of the beach cave. good back rest after the sequencey crux with the other wall of the cave. what a brave lead by alfie. limited space at the hanging belay, definitely cosy for the three of us p3 - short pitch to get over the bulge p4 - slabs till the anchor, where you're tangled up in roots |
