Culling The Herd (8a) Really great crimping and technical face climbing here! Too bad the first 3 bolts were chopped, it made for getting to the first bolt interesting…

Surplus Killing (8a) 🐺 ☠️ Many frustrating tries on this. Cold/windy day w/ Vasya at the nose. Conditions were about as ideal as they get. Low compression boulder (v7) into rest ledge- then sustained 5.11 into the heartbreak v6 up top. Closing to a chapter here in CO. Who will carry the south platte torch?

Culling The Herd (8a+) This face has taunted me the last 50 times i’ve driven into the Splatte with it’s majestic alpenglow. Finally went up there and was shocked it hadn’t been climbed #tradclimbersaredumb Originally thought she’d go at 12+ but after Vasya/Thrasher and I hung at every bolt I learned otherwise. V7 bp leads into two relentless v6 bp’s and a technical 12b finish. Lotta spots to fall. IMO perhaps the best thing i’ve ever climbed in the platte. If you’re reading this GO
