| Trash Panda earned his bolting merit badge during the 2021 Lander summer camp by equipping this beast. Unfortunately for him, fate pulled him away from Lander to buy a geodesic dome house allowing his own camp counselor to swoop in and steal the first ascent from him. It was a hard lesson to teach, but it had to be done... Maybe 12d, but if you make the drive and hike all the way out here you can have the extra points. |

| Enjoyed riding the send train on this one for a delightful first day at Miner's Delight. I don't recommend re-climbing the bulge five times - but sometimes it's fun to eke something out and have your belayer say "I did NOT think you were going to pull that off." |

| I want the blood! I've abandon my CHILD! I will never backslide! Mangled my finger while bolting this beast and lost a lot of blood, which was totally worth it for getting to quote this movie all the time and climb on such a cool feature. It comes down to a steep boulder problem on bad holds, two desperate clips, and a sneaky heartbreaking move to a jug. Unsure of the grade, but it feels like my best/hardest to date. Happy to finally say "I'm finished." (Thankfully without having to beat Paul Dano to death with a bowling pin.) |
