| Gambler's Fallacy (8a) | 51 days of work went into this 9-pitch route, with most of the hard climbing above 13,500 feet. Much of it wasn't climbing, but finding the line, cleaning it (which was extra challenging because of the North Chimney immediately below), hand drilling the 9 protection bolts and 9 belay bolts... And then working the moves and gear. Every single day was worthwhile! Thank you Bruce for being such an awesome partner for this adventure, our second new route on The Diamond. |
