| More Steam, Bigger Women (7b) | Big runouts (23m with 4 anchors plus top), feels safer when you have the beta. Overhang totally wet but manageable, long moves from jugs, worked by creating a new crux with crimps on the roof, but ok after the no hands rest. |

| Empire of the Sun (7b) | CLASSIC... Been dreaming of doing this route since I started climbing in the UK. Better than expected, great rock, amazing moves and striking clean overhanging face. Best I have done in the UK. Almost flashed... fell just before the crack traverse. Floated up second go until I messed up and kept my foot to low and grabbed the wrong hold... had so much gas left, sad. Similar to Berlin sector in Ceuse. My favourite style. Done easier 7b+'s this year... 7b+ in rockfax. (23m) Perfect - 4th go |
