In the summer, the shade arrives around 4 pm but the imposing beech trees of the forest in front of the cliff allow you to stay in the shade for the first part of the face. 🚗 From Tolmezzo take the SS52bis towards Passo Monte Croce Carnico (Austria). After Timau, at the third bend, take the dirt road on the left which in about 3 km leads to the Placche di Val di Collina. 🚶🏻‍♂️⏱ about 10 ' From the parking lot, as for the Dironcave sector, continue on the right following the track for a hundred meters and then on the right continue along an evident track marked by cairns, which crosses the wood uphill to come out on the opposite side at the foot of the sector .
