About
One of the most scenic and oldest crags in Israel where climbing had started in the late 70s. The North wall (facing south) is world class face climbing.
The clean water stream and spring is perfect to refresh after climbing.
An ancient and active monstary sets on one of the cliffs.
Access
The crag is located in a national park. The North wall is open from 8:00-16:00 (an hour later in summer) with entrance fee. The South wall can be reached freely by a 40 minutes hike starting from Almon's entrance gate and outside of the town.
Approach from the park's parking lot: The first routes of the North wall are 3 minutes walk from the parking lot. The South wall sectors begin at 7-10 minutes walk from the parking.
The main park entrance is reached either through Almon or via and dirt road starting off the main road further east.
