The cascade sector has solid rock. The grotte sector has very poor rock quality. The 2 star rating in the guidebook and the description “very good rock quality” is a joke. All the routes are extremely sandbagged. The bolts are often misplaced creating dangerous runouts with consistent injury potential especially in combination with the rock quality.
