From anywhere in the city you have to reach the neighborhood "Barra da Tijuca". In "Barra da Tijuca" you have to search the place called "Barrinha" (little Barra). This place is at the foot of the mountain called: "Pedra da Gávea" (Gávea Stone) and it's a huge mountain closest to the ocean - in "Barra da Tijuca" or "Barrinha" everyone knows where it is, so you can ask. The Crag is in the same access trail to the summit of the mountain, but it's just 15 minutes walking (much shorter than summit). The trail is not so simple for the first time, but is well attended, including weekday. You can ask more about the trail for the rangers who stay at the wooden house near of the entrance of the trail. There is a Hostel near the cliff, in "Barrinha" but i don't know for sure where is it. If you want more informations about accommodation near the crag, look for the climber Lucas Marques on 8a database, he lives 5 minutes from the crag. Don't forget to bring 60 meters rope.
