| Jalapeño (7c) | My first bolted route in my home crag 2 years ago. Today at sundown 8 degrees I managed to climb the topout of this route/boulderproblem, afterwards you finish the route into habanero 8-/8. The line is defined, you start at Hello Gitti and go straight up using the left sidehold and the right crimp on the slabby part, afterwards you go high to a crimp, clipping was not possible for me, the hardest thing is putting the feet high to go a bit dynamic to the edge. if you go right at any time into the easy part of the bloc, it's a lot easier and the original start of habanero 8-. The vertical boulderproblem is around 7a+, but due to the complete rest afterwards i guess 7c is even for tiefenbach a good grade, its harder then all other routes i did in the crag. |
