Exposed to west and south west this crag is perfect for climbing in autumn and spring. During summer only the very early bird (climber) catches (holds) a worm (hold) here - in the afternoon it can get very hot! The Nasenwand sectors offer slabby (Upper Sector), steep and overhanging (Central Sector, Lower Sector and Deeper Sector) climbing at Wachauer Gneiss at its best. Although there are good and easy climbs at the crag, most of the routes difficulty lie above the 7th/8th UIAA grade. Probably still the best sport climbing spot in the Wachau.
