| Stephen (8a+) | Amazing line on the LHS of the huge 100m+? steep basalt gorge. Climbs like a limestone sport route. Still some variable stone but all cruxes are immaculate. Technical slab into steeper powerful fun sporty climbing to a possible heartbraking finale. 55m pitch. 16 bolts plus anchor. Take two ropes and pull one up to get off. Surely the best sport route in the Narrabri/Wee Waa region, even the whole of the the North West Slopes and Plains. Found by Ado Laing and I a few years back. Go do it! |
