Samurai Sauce (7A+) Really Fun!
8 Nov 2023
Really Fun!
The Vanessa Project (7C+) The micro mini ultra mega. Solo session on last day before closing down the cabin for a while. Really fun addition to the circuit here, and something like 6 years in the making from the first brush to the first ascent. Which, hats off to Ryan for digging deep, dunking it, and telling me to get lost! ;)

The Vanessa Project (7C+) Short and stout. Two hard moves that took a while to figure out. Great workshopping this one with Jordan and Andy.

The Tiger (7A+) Great set of moves and super aesthetic! Not sure though if the rock is sharp or if the direct sun exposure just melted my skin?

After Party Arete (7C) Thought I could flash the mantel but the crimps back there were way further when my hips were stuck on the bulge! Sussed out the beta for it afterwards in iso, but botched the subsequent send attempts with careless climbing. Was luckily able to send first-go the next day while heading north on 395. A perfect problem in my book--an obvious feature, solid granite, pleasant holds, and with enough moves to make the topout desperate. A true Eastside banger 🔥!

June Gloom (6B) Been noticing this tempting prow feature for years - finally campaigned on it through the swarms of mosquitoes and moths. It is super! And less sketchy than it appears. Solid work on the FA flash from Ryan. Careful not to kick talus down onto the passing cars when you give this a go folks.
