| It's a Boy (8A) | Holy shit. 6 or 7 sessions over two seasons. First session on it I realized I couldn't connect the foot and the hand for that big crux deadpoint, so I had to make up a sequence from scratch. The smattering of incuts leading up to the seam seemed enticingly usable. I must have gone through a dozen dead end sequences and given up on it multiple times before I finally figured out the right sequence permutation on the little half pad incuts, emptying my entire bag of tricks. Truly the most fucked up boulder I've climbed in Tahoe, maybe the hardest thing I've done this year. Extremely psyched to do this one. |
