| Lower the Gates (7C+) | Lower start to Castle in the Sky. FA by Kyle Mohler. 2nd Ascent by me. Adds a bit to the entire boulder making all of castle feel a bit harder. Overall so much fun and the hardest in the field so far. |

| Atlas (7A+) | Had to hide under this boulder as a rainstorm moved through. The jug and the slab crimp were the only holds that really got wet, but luckily they dried fast so I could fire it and go home. |

| Venom (6C) | Swooping in to check out the local classics while visiting family nearby. Lower area was damp, but I'm glad I walked all the way up the hill. Edit: realized that the descriptions were confusing and I followed the chalk for a variation of this. I exited right doing a tensiony move to the next crimp jug and then exited up from there. Still felt 5ish (but maybe 4?). Fun variation, but will need to do the actual finish next trip down this way. |
