| Mirage (7A+) | This may be the best boulder at Walden's Ridge. The smooth right arete of the first boulder you see on the Boy Scout Trail. Start in the lowest three finger pocket with your left hand and the lowest arete hold with your right. Slap, crimp, compress, and hurl your way up the boulder. Such a unique balance of power and technique that I've really never seen before. I imagine this is what Golden Harvest feels like if you're strong enough to do it. I've seen chalk on it before so probably not an FA, but who knows? |
