Mount Barek, famous for its wind, with an altitude of 1500 meters, it offers climbing opportunities for almost 12 months. The rock structure is granite, andesite and offers a pleasant climbing opportunity after the moss on the rock surface is cleaned. Area has varieties such as crimpy vertical and overhang boulders and high cracks are a nice option for trad climbing. Because of the rocks extend along the north-east and south-west slopes, it is possible to climb in the shade in all seasons, depending on the sun. There is no controlled camping area on the mountain. When you go camping, it is important not to light a fire to protect the forest against fire. And garbage should not be left in campsites.

Barek Mountain is 50 km away from Kirikkale city. It is located near the village of Musellim and Konur in the district of Keskin. There is no public transportation to the mountain road. You must come with your own vehicle. If you are coming from the D260 Karakecili-Kaman road you should return to Keskin road. After following the Keskin road turn left 3,5 km later and after passing the Musellim village. You will see the Nordex wind turbine sign on the dirt road turning left. After 3 km from the dirt road you will reach the first sector. You can park your car on the side of the road or in front of the wind turbines. You can see and walk easily boulders.
