| のっぺりカンテ(Nopperi Kante) (6B) | Very good and extremely tricky, technical problem. Took me quite some time to figure out my beta for the starting moves. Had to resort to using a different hold than everybody else uses (basically a non-existent mono pinch with my left middle finger) to send it. Video |

| 南裏の大ランジ (South Side Big Lunge) (7A) | A surprise send on my very first visit to Kasagi and my first time bouldering in Japan. Very cool athletic problem with a far dynamic move to the left off of a good hold and (thankfully) a not-too-hard top out. Definitely plays to my strengths, and having a bit more reach than most of the local climbers here also definitely helped. Still a very surprising send! Also a great first session together with Tom :). |
