Getting there: You drive on rout number 1 east of Höfn, just before you go in to the tunnel you take a right to Stokksnes. You drive the dirt road for about 5min, you take a left after you pass the Viking Café. From there you need to drive over the sand, just follow the tire marks (you can go on a small car). Wen you come to the other side there is a 4x4 road but if you have a small car you can park there by the first boulder (Fiskasteinn).
