Salt, Sun and Red Granite - Bouldering on Åland

The Best Bouldering between Finland and Sweden is on the island of Åland. No longer a secret spot the island attracts not just climbers from Finland and Sweden but from across the world. And so I arrived with four fellow German climbers on a large ship on the island, in search of red granite boulders.

The sequel to Destination Fontainebleau. Again we're in the search for some of the best bouldering on the planet; this time in Swiss destination Magic Wood.
Among climbing what are undoubtably some of the best boulders in the world we discovered that Joe believes he's too weak to ever climb 8A, Nathan likes to flash all our projects and still finds time to moan about something, Will doesn't care how bad the moves are because it's "all about the line", James would be lost without a dishwasher and that I shouldn't think too much as it can be dangerous.

August of last year I headed into the Teton back country with a very good and close friend of mine - Vince Schaefer. We hiked 4 hours with a elevation gain of 3k feet; Vince with a load of camera gear and myself with a giant pad strapped to the back of my pack. We camped at 9k feet in a boulder field surrounded by meadows and cliffs. We spent 3 days hiking, searching, cleaning, climbing and filming the adventure, we never stopped. Here are 5 blocs that we managed to document for your eyes and ears, so now enjoy our normal - craziness.

The next trip back into the Mountains is ongoing as of now and will end Aug 4th 2015. Be looking for part 2 of Uncovering the Tetons. #uncoveringthetetons

Lost But Not Forgotten from Float Faction on Vimeo.

6 months worth of footage taken by Aidan while he was recovering from his broken spine... Throughout the months of November-April of the 2014-2015 season, Travis Pagel, Ben Mangelsdorf, Owen Nowakowski, Vishal Dosanjh, Jeremy Abraham, and Jeremy Walton went on a number of trips on which they were accompanied by Aidan, solely as a friend and photographer. Much of this footage was used for other FAT IDIOT PRODUCTION's such as "Sacred Stone", "Sans Pad SO iLL" and "The South's Best Kept Secret." However, we went on many other trips, and shot quality footage, just not enough for a full length video, so we stored it away until about a month ago. Aidan began working with the footage, creating somewhat of a storyline of the boys' journeys throughout the Southeast, and thus: Lost But Not Forgotten. ENJOI!
