It is great that finally Petzl has made a good instruction video on soft belays. 8a published the first article about soft belay some 12 years ago. At the same time, I personally taught many of their sponsored athletes how to connect their screw carabiner to their harness. Some six year ago, I made Petzl remove a belaying video that had been shown close to 1 million times as it did show a dangerous technique.
