Adam Ondra did yesterday take the world of climbing one step further by onsighting two confirmed 9a's in Red River Gorge; Golden Ticket (which he cruised) and Pure Imagination. For both the Adam Taylor and Jonathan Siegrist test pieces, Adam gives a personal grade of 8c+. "An hour after Pure Imagination, having nothing to loose, I just kept going in 100% efficient style to top. Fought hard, had a huge luck, but didn't punt it. High end 8c+. Climbing with good ascents in the bag feels like cheating, no stress and everything just flows..." The 19 year old Czech has previously recorded 66 routes between 9a and 9b+ and onsigthed twelve 8c+. The runner up in this os statistics have done one (1) 8c+ onsight. Share the world news on Facebook. (c) Alli Rainey - 15 minutes before the Golden Ticket onsight
