Two 30 minutes 8B's by Baptiste Ometz (16)
Baptiste Ometz, European Boulder Youth Champion in 2014, has done twelve 8A and harder the last week including two 30 minutes 8B in Cresciano; Mithril and La Proue. In total, the 16 year old and 180 cm tall has done 28 boulders 8B and harder and he is #9 in the ranking game, three positions below his three year older brother, Samuel.

European Youth Championship - Bouldering
Austria and Slovenia had the best result in the European Youth Championship in Bouldering. It is quite remarkable that Slovenia with just 2 million inhabitants โฆ
Baptiste Ometz has during the last two weeks done six boulder 8B and harder and counting three weeks, we are talking 19 boulders 8A and harder.
The 16 year old and 180 cm did his first 8B when he was 11 years old. The reason for the rather slow progress until 2014 are numerous injuries like brokenโฆ

Baptiste Ometz has done New Base Line 8B+ in Magic Wood. "Finally did it after having tried it a lot last year." Last year, 16 yearl old, won the Euro Youth Championship and on the 8a ranking game, he is #8.

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
