Sharma repeats La Dura Dura 9b+
Simon Carter reports through FB that Chris Sharma today made the 2nd ascent of La Dura Dura 9b+ in Oliana. Chris bolted it four years ago and invited Adam Ondra to also try the route and one month ago, Adam got the FA. (c) Joe Kinder
Chris has put up 20 routes 9a and harder, out of which 16 are 9a+ or 9b. When it comes to 9a+ and harder FA's, Chris is #1 in the world. In 1996, he was #2 in the world champion being 15 years old. In an 8a poll, two months ago, he was voted the superior #1 climbing hero in the world.
