Ondra: Easier to solo a 9a than Freerider 8a
Adam Ondra says on Facebook, "We can only discuss whether the free-solo climbing is good or not, whether we should write about it or notโฆ Anyway, it takes tremendous amount of courage to free-solo โFreeriderโ. From my point of view, it is easier to solo 9a sport route than this one."

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
โI stopped focusing on competition bouldering after last yearโs World Cup in Prague, partly because I can already feel it on my body, especially in my shoulders. The modern competition style, with a lot of jumping from one hold to another, is very demanding for the shoulders.
