Ondra and Wurm Boulder World Champions

In a thrilling world championship where it come down to the last seconds in the last boulder, Adam Ondra and Juliane Wurm took the victories. In 2010, Adam Ondra won the World Cup overall being 17 years old and since than he has done only three boulder comps being #2 in all; Euro Championship 2010, World Championship 2011 and WC Innsbruck 2014. Jule Wurm started out as a successful lead junior climber winning three Euro Youth Cups. In 2009, she did her first Boulder WC and was #4. During the following season, she has been #6 to #4 overall and in 2013 she won one event. In 2014, she has done 10 boulders 8A and harder.

Adam Ondra says he plans to do the European Championship and a few Lead World Cups. He is soon becomming a father and they are renting a flat in Arco which will become their second home and some thoughts on grades in the nice Epic TV video.
Adam Ondra is the top global climber suggesting the most personal, i.e. honest grades. His amazing tick list would have been even more impressive if he had skipped the honesty part and just taken the topo grade.
