Armstrong assis 8B by Matilda Sรถderlund
Matilda Sรถderlund, who did her first 9a this fall, reports on her Insta that she has done her first 8B, Armstrong assis in Nockeby outside Stockholm. (c) Mรฅns Gullgren
Including also two 8b+ flashes, three 8b onsights as well as being #6 in the Lead World Champion in 2012, Matilda is one of the best multi-discipline female sport climbers in the history. The 27-year-old holds a Master's degree in BA from the highest-ranked university in Sweden.

Matilda Sรถderlund (17) has done two 8a+ in Rodellar, Mal de Amores and La Familia Manson. Matilda was #3 in the European Youth Cup last year and the trip to Rodellar was her first real outdoor climbing experience.

In a week at Railay, Matilda Sรถderlund has done Jai Dum 8b, three 8a+s and flashed Just Call Me Helmet 8a (7c+). In the four IFSC Youth Cup events that she took part in 2010, including the World Championship, her worst result was #7.

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
