Lucifer 8c+ by Claire Buhrfeind (19)
Claire Buhrfeind reports on Instagram that she has done Lucider 8c+ and Omaha Beach 8b+ in Red River Gorge on the same day. The 19 year old won all the three disciplines at the Youth World Championship and she is with 8.90, the fastest female climber performing at a high level in Lead and Bouldering. Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
โI stopped focusing on competition bouldering after last yearโs World Cup in Prague, partly because I can already feel it on my body, especially in my shoulders. The modern competition style, with a lot of jumping from one hold to another, is very demanding for the shoulders.
