Local Slovenia comp with world class participants
Stefan Wraber reports from the latest stage of NLP League that started in 2009. Beside the impressive podium also Staลกa Gejo, Mina Markovic, Mia Krampl and Julija Kruder participated.

"An idea by Urh ฤehovin and Gregor ล eliga, their goal was to establish an amateur boulder league, without a lot of organisation, route setting and prizes, just color taped boulders on otherwise full wall. Since our gym is small (some 200m2), we have to have holds everywhere. The rules were simple... Climb as many boulders as you can, no bonuses, no counting tries, just get a hold of that last hold! Share a beta, cheer for your friends and most of all, enjoy the climbing. The best 8 boys and 8 girls enter the evening finals.
Throughout the years NLP was very well accepted in our climbing community due to its laid back nature, excellent boulders and final show, always a spectacle due to a DJ, light show and an energized vibe from the crowd. And sometimes with a funky dress code, that adds to non formality of the league." More great pictures.

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
โI stopped focusing on competition bouldering after last yearโs World Cup in Prague, partly because I can already feel it on my body, especially in my shoulders. The modern competition style, with a lot of jumping from one hold to another, is very demanding for the shoulders.
