Jibรฉ Tribout (46) strikes again !
Last weekend, the French climbing legend, Jean Baptiste Tribout (46) onsighted Le placard at St Lรฉger (France), a solid 8a+, placing quickdraws! He is now very motivated to go for an 8b onsight!
Next day, he onsighted les 400 coups de Virginie, 8a in Gorges du Blavet. The route was opened by Christophe Louis.
Here is an article that followed his ascent of Guerre d'usure, 8c (in French there).

Another 8c for Tribout (46)
Jb Tribout just keeps improving. A few days ago, at Tournoux, he climbed Intime รฉtrangรจre, his second 8c since the come back. At 46, Jibรฉ says he's nowhere near as strong as he once was, but that he's more relaxed in his climbing now, and that's why he's very close to the same level. Stay tuned for โฆ
