Garnbret, Nonaka, Ondra, Coleman, Megos and Ginés López skip the WCH

Based on the registration to the World Championship in Russia, 16-21/9, half of the Olympians will not take part. The big names that are missing are: Janja Garnbret, Miho Nonaka, Adam Ondra, Alberto Gínes López, Nathaniel Coleman, Sean McColl, Alex Megos, Akiyo Noguchi and Shauna Coxsey. The latter two have previously said that they would retire from the competition scene after Tokyo 2020. In other words, none of the three female Olympic medalists will participate in Moscow.
