First 8B+ for Canadian Yves Gravelle

Yesterday Yves Gravelle climbed his first 8B+ with the 6th ascent of Daniel Woods' Echale in Clear Creek Canyon, Colorado. This problem is not the most beautiful because it was chipped (not by Daniel) and sits in a gully a bit above a road. It has not seen many ascents considering its vicinity to the hard-bouldering meccas of Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins. Yves has been a long-time strong climber and is a member of the Canadian National Team. He has developed his own training system which can be viewed with videos on his vimeo channel and also makes movie-quality replica masks, some of which can be seen here
