First 8A by Holly McMullen

Holly McMullen has after just over two years of climbing done her first 8A, Gross's Roof in Cumberland. No secret, sport or finger instrument background. The first summer was spent on a finger board as she was to poor paying the gym entrance after finishing college studies. "I know plenty of people here in the south that have not been climbing long and are getting strong quick! It's just easier now with so many climbing gyms and training tools available. My goals don't really revolve around certain climbs right now, I mean, I have a ticklist, but I'm just psyched to improve on my weaknesses and travel. More info at Hollyclimbs.blogspot.com
