Boulder routes
In the latest issue of Escalar , an 8a.nu article regarding the grading and definition of boulders and routes was published, including comments from Andrada, Bereziartu and three other spanish celebrities.
In 2002, 8a.nu started to report routes = 8a and boulders = 8A. This has become a worldwide standard as it makes it easier to understand and value reported news. Now we add 8Aa for boulder routes and traverses.

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
โI stopped focusing on competition bouldering after last yearโs World Cup in Prague, partly because I can already feel it on my body, especially in my shoulders. The modern competition style, with a lot of jumping from one hold to another, is very demanding for the shoulders.
