Annie Sanders wins again
Annie Sanders continued her impressive 2026 campaign by winning in Chamonix, following finishes of first, first and second in the season's opening three Lead World Cups. In Boulder, the 18-year-old has won the two last WC events. โIt was incredible. The crowd in Chamonix is always so supportive, and I feel like the routes suited me very well, flowy and then crimpy at the top.โ

โI stopped focusing on competition bouldering after last yearโs World Cup in Prague, partly because I can already feel it on my body, especially in my shoulders. The modern competition style, with a lot of jumping from one hold to another, is very demanding for the shoulders.
