Action Direct 9a by Julius Westphal
Climbing.de reports that Julius Westphal has done Action Direct 9a in Frankenjura which was set up by Wolfgang Gรผllich in 1991. Although it was the 18th repeat in total, it was only the third repeat the last three years.
Julius has made headlines since 2003 when he did his first 8C boulder being just 16 years old.

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
โI stopped focusing on competition bouldering after last yearโs World Cup in Prague, partly because I can already feel it on my body, especially in my shoulders. The modern competition style, with a lot of jumping from one hold to another, is very demanding for the shoulders.
