9a FA by Alex Megos in Céüse

Alex Megos is productive as always and now he has done Le Cadre 9a on his third go. He has put up three FAs in Céüse as well. One 8a+, one 8b+ and Conquerors of the Useless 9a. "It was bolted by Jörg Andreas last year in May in the sector "Bibendum". I checked it out and after 2h of bouldering in the crux sequence I finally figured out a way which worked. So when I came back the second day there was just one move still missing which I knew would be possible. In the beginning of the day I did that move and started giving it go's. It took me six tries that day to do it. I was not sure about the grade so at the beginning I said 8c+/9a but a few days later I did "Le Cadre" 9a a lot faster and it felt easier so I'll give 9a for the FA. I called it "Conquerors of the Useless". Would be really nice to see a post on 8a.nu to make the route a bit more popular and maybe it'll see a repeat soon! That would be great! Psyched to hear what people think about it!!!" It's worth mentioning that Conquistadors of the Useless is the title of the memoirs of Lionel Terray, one of the greatest French alpinists ever.
