8c+ by Samuel Hammer (15)

Samuel Hammer has repeated Tomi Nytorp's Syncro in Nummi, Finland. The route was set up as an 8c but C Bindhammer, A Gullsten and now Samuel (second, third and fourth ascentist, respectively) have suggested an upgrade to 8c+. "One giant mental war comes to a beautiful ending! " This is the hardest sport climb in Finland and it is interesting to see where Samuel will set his sights next. The third ascentist, Anthony Gullsten, has also been on the tight end of the rope this summer. In June, he opened two new lines in Ceuse's famous Biographie sector. The new climbs, Mr Hyde and Dr Jekyll, are roughly graded 8c+ and 8b/8b+ and look fantastic!
