8c+ by Nina Caprez: Girl power!
Nina Caprez who has successfully tried most disciplines from Boulder WC's to multi-pitch climbing, has done the 45 m Mind Control, 8c+ in Oliana. "I did the route on my 6th try. One last year, 4 work outs this week and on my first serious try I did the redpoint."
What was the key thing to be able to do it and what is next?
Being calm and super psyched. Since the last year, this line was a dream for me! Three more weeks in Spain and then Argentina for a bolting trip with the team petzl for the next petzl roc trip. super cool! (c) Maria Torres

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
โI stopped focusing on competition bouldering after last yearโs World Cup in Prague, partly because I can already feel it on my body, especially in my shoulders. The modern competition style, with a lot of jumping from one hold to another, is very demanding for the shoulders.
