8B by Pietro Biagini (16) in Varazze
Pietro Biagini, who won one Euro Boulder Cup in 2015 and was #4* in the Combined World Championship 2016, has done his first 8B, Alphacentauri in Varazze. He also did Raptor 8B, skipping the elimination holds, and suggested a personal grade of 8A for this variation. In the 8a combined ranking game, the 16-year-old is #3 among the juniors.

* In the original official results, Pietro was #3 and he also got his bronze standing on the podium in China. One week later, IFSC admitted that they had published the wrong calculation.

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
