8A+ in one session by Alex Puccio
Alex Puccio has done Manny 74 (AKA The Cuckold 8A+) in Hueco Tanks very quickly, and it seems she is almost back in full form after her spinal surgery four months ago.
" I'm definitely fully recovered, but not back to full strength yet. Feel like I'm getting stronger and stronger, but it's a slow process. Not yet back to where i was before my injury, but I know I will get there!
Not really sure on the grade. I know I have and can climb 8A+ in a session and it's my style boulder. It was really really hot out today so my main project had to take a back seat till we get back from the comp. I tried to look up what other people thought about this climb, but couldn't find anything. Oh well. Time for the Comp in Alabama this weekend and then back to Hueco!!!"

Results of Feb 15-17 ABS Nationals at The Spot in Boulder, CO
Alex Puccio was the only woman to flash all 4 qualifying problems putting her in 1st place going into finals. She and Alexandra Johnson had a close finish in finals with Alexandra flashing 3 of the 4 finals problems but with Alex Puccio keeping a slight point lead and taking top spot.

Mammut Bouldering Championships SLC - FINAL RESULTS
The forces of nature added an exciting dimension to this year's Mammut Bouldering Championships with rain threatening throughout the event. Repeating his dramatic performance from 2007, Chris Sharma rallied from 9th place to take home the 1st place cash prize, and Alex Puccio edged out Alex Johnson โฆ

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
