8A+ by Alex Puccio again
Alex Puccio has done her 54th 8A+, Right Martini in Hueco Tanks. "The BIG move was hard to stick from the start. Long Boulder! Psyched to be getting fitter and stronger! :) I LOVE BIG moves!" (c) John Bishop
In 2014, Alex was runner-up in the world championship but both in June 2015 and 2016, she badly injured herself in World Cups and had to undergo knee and spinal surgeries. In a Climbing interview she said,
โEveryone thinks I heal abnormally fast, but the reality is I donโt give up during an injury," she said. "Some people get injured and sit around waiting to heal. I find ways to work around my injury so I can stay fit and come back sooner than expected.โ

Results of Feb 15-17 ABS Nationals at The Spot in Boulder, CO
Alex Puccio was the only woman to flash all 4 qualifying problems putting her in 1st place going into finals. She and Alexandra Johnson had a close finish in finals with Alexandra flashing 3 of the 4 finals problems but with Alex Puccio keeping a slight point lead and taking top spot.

Mammut Bouldering Championships SLC - FINAL RESULTS
The forces of nature added an exciting dimension to this year's Mammut Bouldering Championships with rain threatening throughout the event. Repeating his dramatic performance from 2007, Chris Sharma rallied from 9th place to take home the 1st place cash prize, and Alex Puccio edged out Alex Johnson โฆ

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
