5th 8B+ by Baptiste Ometz (16)

Baptiste Ometz, who did 21 boulders 8B and harder last year, has done his fifth 8B+, Sur le Fil in Switz, which actually could have been his sixth if he would not have given a personal grade for the classic, The Dagger, two weeks ago. The European Youth Bouldering Champion is #7 in the ranking game and actually, he is making new standards for 16 year old's. His tree year older brother Samuel is #3 in the ranking game. Baptiste did his first 8B when he was 12 years and his second being 15. The reason for this were numerous injuries like like broken wrist, toe problems and meniscus. During the last year he has been bouldering like four days a week.
