| New Dawn (7c) | Mega line! Did it 3rd Session on. Thursday - working the runout. Friday - working the boulder. Sunday - 2 good goes! Think I got flash pumped on my first go because I was totally boxed at the big flat ledge... Next go, I got there with plenty to spare and was able to do the spicy mantle. Learnt a lot tactically on this route: not settle for my first impression of the moves and to find more energy-conserving beta for doing bigger links. Also that conditions do change and you can just patiently sit back and enjoy the sunshine. Psyched! |
