Brătilești Bouldering Area is located in Buzău County, Romania, near the village of Brătilești. The area has been continuously developed by the local climbing community since 2010 and is one of the largest sandstone bouldering areas in the country. The area includes several sectors such as La Corturi, La Frați, Nautilus, Portage, La Cascadă, Fața Malului, and Mt. Ivănețu, offering hundreds of problems from beginner-friendly lines to hard projects. Climbing styles range from slabs and technical faces to overhangs, arêtes, cracks, and compression problems on quality sandstone. Brătilești is climbable almost year-round, with best conditions in spring and autumn. Each year, in autumn, the Brătilești Bouldering Festival takes place here, focused on outdoor bouldering, new lines, and community-driven climbing.
